On Writing Well — recommended by my journalism profs, it's the best book on writing I've ever read.
Eats, Shoots & Leaves — everything you ever need to remember how to use proper grammar. I read it in high school and I like to say it changed the course of my life, making me the grammar-obsessed editor I am today. :)
The Chicago Manual of Style — the editors' Bible.
